Inspection Testing and reporting
All assets are examined for physical integrity and accuracy after delivery, and information is then recorded into our inventory management database.
• Type, Make, Model, Serial/Asset Number, Hard Drive, Memory, Cd/DVD, etc. are recorded as asset details.
• Each asset undergoes functional testing to ensure that all of the components are in good functioning order.
• The general asset condition is noted, along with any missing or broken parts, components, and other pertinent remarks pertaining to the condition.
Sales & Disposal Removal

• All costs associated in processing and handling will be offset against any remarketing of assets at fair market value.

Decommissioning

Then, utilising a variety of wiping algorithms, devices are put through a military-grade sanitisation procedure. All assets are unpacked and recorded in a restricted and secure space. Each item is monitored via data security procedures till disposal.
Security of Data
When assets leave your premises, data security starts. A regulated chain of custody is used by ARS to ensure that items can be monitored and that the entire process can be audited to ensure that all equipment is present and accounted for and that data security procedures are upheld.
Identification Removal
Prior to destruction or sale, all equipment will have all identifying marks, labels, tags, stickers, and references to customers removed, including any software identification labels, logos, and asset tags.
Environmentally Responsible
By distributing all equipment to e-waste facilities or to be reconditioned and reused once more, One IT Services hopes to limit the number of computers that end up in landfill.
